Rule 01. You are responsible for creating one doll.

That one doll will have to be created around the theme chosen for your team.
You do not get to choose which theme your team gets, so that no one will know ahead of time what they are going to have to doll.
You cannot submit more than one doll.

Rule 02. You do not get to choose your base.

Bases will be chosen for your team, so that no one will know what team they're on.
You must use the base chosen for your team; you cannot use any other base.
You cannot do a baseless doll.

Rule 03. No dollmakers. No frankendolling. No frankenbasing.

Rule 04. Blood/gore and nudity is allowed.

Rule 05. Backgrounds are allowed. Props are encouraged!

PLEASE REMEMBER!!! If you create a background, make it big enough to fit all the dolls on your team, not just your doll! All the dolls from one team will make one complete image when the race is over, so the background should span that one image entirely, not just a portion of it.
We will allow teammates to plan and create a background when the race is over, if you'd like, so you can always wait for that, or make it before hand by yourself.
Props are encouraged, as your doll will be a part of a completed collab image in the end, it will add to the 'scene', however, they're not mandatory.
All props, linearts, backgrounds, etc. must be 100% created by you
Bases and palettes are the only exceptions.
This means no shrinking jpegs

Rule 06. Animations are not allowed.

Rule 07. Dolls must be new to this contest.

Even if you have created a doll based on your team's theme, and with the same base, before, please make something new for this, as it is a race.

Rule 08. Size limit is 300 x 300.

But obviously, if you make a background big enough for (however many teammates) it will need to be bigger. So we'll say, for backgrounds, the size limit is 550 x 550.

Rule 09. You cannot join after Sign-Ups close.

Sign-Ups will run for the first two weeks of the event, and then we will create teams, and start all the first team members on their doll.
After Sign-Ups are closed, it would not be fair to everyone else to try and squeeze you in, especially if all the teams are even, so unfortunately you'll just have to check out our other events going on, or (depending on how fast the race ends, and if there's enough interest) we might start another race after the first, and you can join in on that. (no promises though!)

Rule 10. Only members will be able to participate.

(for anyone wondering, we want you to join our forum to post here so we can be sure it's actually you posting in your thread, otherwise, anyone could use your name and post. It will also allow you to edit your own posts, in case you want to update a doll or change something once posted, etc.)
