Inspired by Insects - CLOSED

Mission: Create a doll inspired by an insect! Any insect'll do!

• You MUST include a reference pic of the insect you choose so I/we can /all see what inspired you, without having to google each entry (pretty please and thank you so much )
  
• I'd rather we all stay away from the cliche 'pretty' bugs, like lady bugs, butterflies, bees, etc. but if you think you can spin it enough to be different from the usual, go for it!
  
• Each insect can only be done once!! So no duplicates! (different types are allowed, so for instance, there can be a black widow spider and a brown recluse, but there cannot be two black widows. kapeesh?)
  
• Reply to this thread or PM me here at SMIRK to call dibs on the insect of your choice, so there won't be any confusion on whether one is already taken.
  
• PLEASE DO NOT BEGIN YOUR ENTRY WITHOUT FIRST MAKING SURE THAT THAT INSECT IS NOT ALREADY RESERVED!!!
  
• You can enter as many times as you want for this contest (but with different bugs)
  
• Small animations are allowed.
  
• Size limit is 500x500
  
• Background/props are allowed, as long as the doll remains the main focus, and you MUST CREDIT ANYTHING you use that isn't yours!!!
  
• And remember to read my rules... just in case...
